This award, presented for a number of years by the Orange Bowl Committee, is given annually to the nation’s top collegiate place-kicker as determined by a voting panel of Division 1 head coaches, sports writers and sportscasters from across the county, conference representatives, professional kickers and previous winners.

Doral Academy is the girls' champion and Norland captured the boys' championship with a tough shot with under 10 seconds that earned them a hard fought victory over Aspira Charter. The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta, held every year between Christmas and New Years, in Miami, is quite an experience for the uninitiated and veterans. Junior sailors from all over the world descended on Coconut Grove’s waterfront to compete in Optimist prams, Laser 4.7’s, Laser Radials, Lasers and Club 420’s.
Established in 1948, the Junior Orange Bowl celebrates youth sports and arts at a series of competitions in basketball, chess, creative writing, cross-country, golf and more! Young people from around the world gather in Miami to challenge each other at gymnastic competitions, ice hockey and tennis matches and vie to be named top scholar athlete. The sporting events culminate in a gala parade.
The Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships, known as the Dunlop Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2008 to 2013 with Dunlop as the title sponsor, and renamed the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships from 2013 onwards, is a prestigious junior tennis tournament, one of five that are rated by the ITF as 'Grade A'.
