Mwanamugimu Essay Contest.. National Youth Symposium. Our youth symposium is held during the month of March. Often it is held in a high school, which can vary from year to year. The purpose is to assure we reach as many high school students we can in the Essex County Newark area.
The NRA sponsors annual contests for kids and young adults to nurture their interest in hunting, wildlife conservation, shooting and the Second Amendment. The Youth Essay Contest is a thought provoking writing contest held every year by the NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund and is open to students from kindergarten to their senior year of high school.

The Ackerman Essay Contest Award winners are announced at the AIS National Convention.
